The grammar police, in the person of Doug Ramsey, emailed me regarding my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.devradowrite.com\/?p=77\"target=\"_blank\">Village Memories<\/a> post:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Isn&#8217;t &#8220;still remains&#8221; redundant ?, i.e. * &#8230;its famous facade, including the clock tower, *still remains* \u00e2\u20ac\u201d ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He is quite correct, and I have edited the text to read &#8220;still stands.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While we may seem to tease a bit, I do believe that a good editor is a writer&#8217;s best friend.
